Description of Work:

Experience Miriama Young's contribution to the innovative Solstice LAMP installation, an interactive sound and light installation exhibited at Vivid Sydney 2013. Young collaborated with Oliver Bown, Luke Hespanhol, Martin Tomitsch, and Reuben Young, among others, to create an immersive artwork that utilized projectors, 3D sensors, lasers, and generative music to transform the AMP skyscraper's forecourt into a dynamic canvas. Visitors became co-authors of the installation, as the program translated their movements into animated projections, musical sounds, and an ambient soundscape, creating an experience that fused sound and movement in innovative ways.
